Friday 4th July: Simon Watterton (Piano)

Two sides of Beethoven tonight, the genial, humorous variations on God Save the King alongside the mighty ‘Appassionata Sonata’, one of the most powerful and exciting sonatas ever written for the piano.

Alongside this, works by Schubert, Brahms and Mozart as well as Debussy, including his beautiful Clair de Lune.
