American-Icelandic pianist, Andrew J. Yang, presents a program highlighting deep and nostalgic works from the romantic era including works by Rachmaninoff, the entire set of Brahms’ masterpiece, Six Piano Pieces op. 118, and Chopin’s Deux Nocturnes, op. 62 written in the twilight of his life. In addition, to be performed are Ravel’s evocative and charming Sonatine and Yang’s original composition, Impromptu in F# minor, op. 3, inspired by Kazuo Ishiguro’s touching novel, Never Let Me Go.
