In the first half Nafis will perform Bunte Blätter, one of the greatest but lesser known masterpieces of Robert Schumann, which spans across his artistic path covering a period over a decade of his personal life full of turbulent events. In the second half she will play Scarlatti’s baroque miniature sonatas, Beethoven’s “Moonlight” Sonata and end with the 20th Century neoclassical pieces of Ravel: the Prélude and Toccata from “Le Tombeau de Couperin”.
